Jeffrey A. Feinbloom

Jeffrey A. Feinbloom is a native New Yorker who grew up on Long Island.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and his Juris Doctor degree from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City.  Since 1996 he has maintained his own legal practice in Manhattan specializing in immigration law.  He assists clients with cases covering the entire range of family and employment based immigration issues, including but not limited to family sposorships, green cards, work visas, consular processing, adjustment and/or change of status, naturalization/citizenship, deportation and removal, and political asylum.  In 2002 he joined forces with his sister to form Feinbloom Bertisch LLP.  Mr. Feinbloom is a member of the New York State Bar, the American International Lawyers' Association (AILA) and the New York State Bar Association.  He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York as well as the Southern and Eastern District Courts of New York.  He has also been admitted to the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeal.

Mr. Feinbloom is an avid traveler and music lover.  He enjoys spending time with his friends and family as well as skiing, American soccer (football) and hiking.







Sharyn Feinbloom Bertisch

Ms. Bertisch grew up on Long Island and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Following graduation she worked in Washington, DC as a paralegal for Sonosky, Chambers, Sachse and Endreson, LLP, a law firm specializing in protecting the rights of Native Americans. Ms. Bertisch returned to New York City to attend The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where she became a member and Senior Editor of the Law Review and graduated with honors (cum laude) in the top ten percent of her class.

After receiving her Juris Doctor degree from Cardozo, she worked for more than three years as a litigation associate for Kaye Scholer LLP. In search of a smaller, more intimate practice that would afford her the opportunity to work directly with clients and personally carry through on cases from beginning to end, she joined her brother in 2002 to form Feinblom Bertisch LLP.

Ms. Bertisch is a member of the New York State Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York as well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Sharyn is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, biking, camping and skiing. She is conversant in French and practices both ballet and modern dance.







Jonathan M. Davis

Born and raised in California, Mr. Davis earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2002 from Oak Brook College of Law in Fresno, California. During law school, Mr. Davis worked as a legal assistant with Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy LLP, where he specialized in business immigration. He also volunteered w ith the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Morrison & Foerster as a translator for pro bono political asylum cases.

After receiving his Juris Doctor, Mr. Davis moved to South Asia to serve as Representative Council for two years with the International Justice Mission, a US-based human rights legal organization, where he helped investigate and prosecute extreme cases of bonded labor, child labor and human trafficking. Upon returning to the U.S., he worked as a contract attorney with Chronis, Kreher & Wloszek LLP in San Francisco, focusing on a variety of corporate immigration issues.

Before joining Feinbloom Bertisch LLP, Mr. Davis lived in London, UK, where he earned an LLM (Master in Laws) degree from the University of London School of Oriental & African Studies, and graduated with a “merit” (cum laude). His studies there focused on international refugee and human rights law, Islamic and South Asian legal systems, and
the Arabic language.

Mr. Davis is a member of the State Bar of California and enjoys travel, opera, independent cinema, yoga, and literature. He is also a classically trained pianist and violinist, and a keen enthusiast of foreign languages. In addition to speaking fluent Spanish, he is conversant in French, German, Russian, Portuguese, and Hindi.
